If the operation is improper, such as high-speed turning, rapid start, or entering mud, weeds and so on, the pins will cause the left and right sides of the crawler plate to be overweighted and droop, the pins will deform and bend, they can not rotate in the pin hole, the pins and pin holes will become sliding friction, and the friction part is limited to a small part of the contact surface, the pins will gradually become curved and the pin holes will become elliptical. The increase of pinhole leads to the increase of track pitch (pitch is the center distance between the holes at both ends of the track board), so the track board and the driving wheel gnaw each other, the track board is worn through, and the driving wheel teeth are knife-edged. According to the measurement, when pitch is changed from 174 mm to 184 mm, the opening width of driving wheel teeth is changed from 87 mm to 97 mm, and the normal rolling engagement is completely destroyed.
Because the pitch of the track board is lengthened, it also causes the running wheel to jump, which accelerates the wear of the track part of the track board. When the runway subsides more than 4 mm, it should be repaired.
The wear of the guide part of the track board is mainly caused by the deviation of the track, the serious deformation of the track board, and the too large axial sway of the supporting wheel and the guide wheel.
Common scrap track boards are severely worn or worn out in the meshing parts with driving wheels.
