The materials purchased from the profiles are generally 25MnB, and the final heat treatment hardness of the material is HB364~444.
Crawler plates for tracked vehicles are usually made of high manganese steel which has been used for nearly a hundred years. This is because the high manganese steel has a prominent feature, that is, under the impact load, it occurs impact hardening, making it form a hard and wear-resistant surface layer, while still maintaining the toughness and plasticity of its inner structure. However, the high manganese steel used as crawler board is often damaged early due to cracks, inverted teeth and flexure, and its service life is low. In order to overcome this shortcoming, a kind of low alloy high strength steel 30SiMnMoV (Ti) based on domestic resources and easy to produce has been developed. It has been successfully used to replace high manganese steel in the manufacture of crawler plate.
